Custom Sennheiser HD580, HD600, HD650 Headphone Cable

I construct high quality headphone cables for Sennhesier HD580 / HD600 / HD650 heaphones. This line of cables is called the 'Yellowjacket' - I really love the unique color I was able to achieve with the cable. If you are interested in a similar cable please contact me and I'll gladly give you a quote.

This cable is a huge improvement over the stock Sennheiser cable. Through the use of high gauge silver plated military grade wire the highs are noticably clearer and more detailed. The bass is cleaner and more controlled, with more noticable separation in the lows. The midrange is affected less dramatically, but the clarity provided by using silver applies here as well. Overall a noticably sharper and more detailed sound is achieved, and the infamous Sennheiser 'veil' is all but removed.

Yellowjacket Cable Design Components

» Military Spec silver plated copper wire, teflon dielectric
» Litz braided wire configuration for minimum electrical resistance
» Neutrik Silver Plated 1/4" Plug

Hi there,

So, you no longer cater for headphone cables...

If you had ENOUGH spare time, could you *STILL* do one up for me ? (Pretty Please?)

I have an HD650. I reckon your design concept is unique. I gotta have this!

In saying that this is unique, what I'm specifically commenting on, is your open and clear sense of forwardness in terms of the solder points. (The Two Strands Of Yellow Coloured Soldered Wire, at the headphone entry point).

What I have understood about this idea, is that this establishes a hassle-free, highly decisive, no nonsense schematic of either: "This wire is connected properly - Or - This wire is not connected at all". It's either "BLACK" or "WHITE" - no grey in between.

I admire this, and I suggest you counsel the rest of the Headphone Cable manufacturer's out there, to adopt this same principle.

WELL DONE.

NOW - secure me a deal ! - (applicable to your sense of spare time, and a waiting time for me - that is completely determined on your terms only).

I need 3 metres of this - but here comes the next big question: Can you conduct "Bankwire Transfers ?".

Oh ow - maybe I've sealed my fate here........

You probably don't. If this is the case, fine, I will have to go without, but at least assure me that the unique sonic design philosophy you have developed should be used by the other headphone cable manufacturers out there !.

I believe you've pin-pointed probably the most reliable way of seeing whether a wire is properly connected, or not!. You really do have something valuable to share, with the rest of the cabling industry.

Thank you for your time and attention.

I await your reply to this email, with anticipation.

Yours Sincerely,

Cheers,

Demetri Tsaclis

What kind of heat ,shrink are you using on your cables? Dual wall?

posted by skip on 09.19.09

It's an adhesive heatshrink, so as it shrinks there's an adhesive on the inside wall to really grip the Techflex. I've had the Techflex come loose without it.

Hey

your cables look (and probably sound) great...and i am hoping you can help me!

I have some HD25-II Headphones which i adore... i want to use them with my Ipod while out and about but the cable is just too long....can you make some cables for the HD25 II's that are 1 - 1.5 metres long?

I am willing to a pay well for this as it would release my headphones to daily use for me!
